Eva Hillered - Life Line

With a personal unique voice that boasts a deep soulfulness Eva Hillered sings ten songs co-written with estableshed songwriters from USA, Canada, Ireland, and Denmark. Lyrics for the heart, music for the soul. Genre: folk, americana and country.

EVA HILLERED is a singer-songwriter from Scandinavia, born in Stockholm, living in Sweden. Eva has a unique voice that boasts a deep soulfulness coming from the need of expressing herself in songwriting from a very early age in life.
She has been working with many of Swedens most respected musicians, producers and artists.
The collaboration with the famous singer-songwriters Eva Dahlgren in Sweden and Anne-Grete Preus in Norway resulted in them being the producers of Eva's debut album "Inte varför - utan hur" (Not Why - But How, Record Station). This strong melancholic record with striking melodies and profound depth was nominated for a Swedish Grammy.

Danya River
Within / Without

An innocently haunting collection of angel-voiced songs: upright bass, tasty percussion, measured guitar. "Wonderfully inventive...uplifting, startling, and incredibly evocative". -Rosanne Cash

"One of the most interesting singer-songwriters I've heard lately...intelligent, thoughtful, well-written lyrics, with good use of metaphor and an attentive eye for detail. Her songs remind me of some of the better work of artists like Joni Mitchell and Shawn Colvin...add to this her skillful guitar work, a warm voice that stays with you long after the show is over, a delicious debut CD that you'll keep on repeat for hours, and you have a young artist who has quickly created a buzz in the Bay Area."

Elodie
It's Too Bad You're Leaving

The press describes the music as ”lovely, minimalist Nordic pop, not too far removed from similarly female-fronted Swedish combos like Club 8 and Darcy, with nifty touches of torchy jazz and loungy exotica and the occasional splash of casual dancefloor friendliness, like Waltz for Debbie or Permer”
