Sara Lazarus - Give Me The Simple Life

An American in Paris. After winning 1st Place at the prestigious Thelonious Monk competition in 1994, Sara Lazarus headed off to Paris, France to become one of the country’s top vocalists. First inspired by Carmen McRae, Sarah Vaughan and Betty Carter, Sara’s sound and phrasing would develop into something very rare in the world of jazz – a unique voice of her own.
