Hi, I am curious about a sweidsh speaker that I've rquired. Is it possible to improve it? I've read somewhere that there are a couple of modifications that can even improve this speakersystem.
The modifications that I can remember that I have heard of is:
Wooden quarter-stip to fill up the "step" around the baffle... - to minimize difraction.
deaden midrange plastic "box" by applying "bitumen rubber" on it...
Also check the status of the foam surround on the woofers, the foam will eventually become rotten and fall off... don't worry, the foam can relativly easy be replaced.
The Sipe tweeter is to my knowlage discontinued but I think a replacement driver is manufactured by Sinus...
